Honeo
Colonial Secretary,
I have to report another large seisure of revolvers and ammunition contained in 14 barrels per 3/8. Tenyo Maru." The goods were manifested as shrings, and came from San Francisco, from the packing it appears as if the arms came from the same source as those seized recently ex. "President Wilson." The packers were evidently Chinese, as the contents of some packages were written in Chinese. There were about 300 revolvers some long some short barrels, all new most in their original boxes, and about 50,000 rounds of .38 ammunition long and short and German Hauser ammunition in olips. The revolvers were Smith Wesson's, and Harrington and Richardson's short .38, manufactured in United States of America, all the .38 ammunition was of United States of America manufacture.
